Summer Fun!

We have had a wonderful and busy start to our summer!  We have spent a lot of time outdoors-- and lots of time on the go.  Between lots of playdates, therapy and just getting stuff done, I feel like we are always headed somewhere.  My Aunt Beth, cousin Kelly, and her two boys were visiting from Arizona all last week and my brother, sister-in-law and nieces fly in tonight so we are having lots of family time... and loving it!!  We also celebrated my Grandma Patti's 80th birthday last weekend.  It was a wonderful day-- although sadly, I realized I don't have any pics of Grandma from her special day-- will have to get some from Mom to post at a later date.
We hope that you are all enjoying the start to your summer and that you will be blessed to spend time with your own families!

Isabelle Ann ~ 4 1/2 years

Sophia Grace ~ 18 months

I continue to struggle with the feat of capturing a photo of both of my girls looking and smiling... but here they are anyway!  They are both getting so big!

Sophie loves to smell flowers and always takes the time to do so... something we all could learn from :)

The girls love our little "blow-up" pool in the backyard.  They are also both becoming braver in Grandma and Grandpa's pool.  Isabelle gets pretty nervous but is gaining confidence.  Sophie has no fear... imagine that!

Isabelle began gymnastics in June and is absolutely loving it!  She gets so excited to go and always counts down the days until she can go again.  It has been a great activity that is special just for her.  We have enjoyed watching her excitement and her developing skills!

The sensory table never gets old... it has mostly been used with water and bubbles over the past month or two.  The girls play together so well and Sophie gets some great exercise standing.

My morning snuggle-bugs!

Isabelle, Sophia and our beloved pediatrician, Dr. Stoll
We were sad to learn that Dr. Stoll will be leaving at the end of July as she moves to a new practice in Missouri.  She has meant so much to us over the past 4 1/2 years and the girls absolutely love her.  She has been our pediatrician since Isabelle was born and I could not have asked for a better doctor to stand by our side as we went through everything with Sophia's health and diagnosis this past year.  She is a phenomenol individual and while we are sad that she will no longer be caring for our babies, we are happy that she is doing what is best for her own family.  There is no doubt that we will stay in touch!!
