Dream Night at Blank Park Zoo

Sophia was invited to Dream Night at Blank Park Zoo the first weekend in June.  Dream Night is presented by Blank Children's Hospital, The University of Iowa Children's Hospital, and other area service providers for children with special needs.  It is an evening created for children with special needs and their families.  I was overly impressed with the organization, accessibility, and grandeur of the event.  We were able to explore the zoo, meet many special characters, ride the train, create arts and crafts, and enjoy a dinner catered by Hy-Vee.  It really was a special night in which dreams came true... just see below! :)

Dreams really do come true!  The girls met real princesses at Dream Night!
Here they are getting magic wish dust sprinkled upon their heads so that all of their
wishes will come true.

While Isabelle wasn't so sure about getting a pic with Spiderman, she was okay with SuperWOMAN!!

A not-so-scary clown... Sophie was very interested in Sprinkles the Clown!

The girls were able to choose one special souvenier to take home from Dream Night. Both girls chose a soft and cuddly seal to add to their collection.
