Isabelle loves being outside. We sometimes throw a bit of a tantrum when it is time to go inside. Yes, I know, hard to believe this little angel has a naughty streak. ;)

Isabelle loves to help me in the flowerbed. She even has her own watering can. She was helping with mulch on this day.

As you can see, most of it ends up on her instead of in the flowerbed. :)

Isabelle is a true blessing to us and we are reminded of this again and again. Taking time to smell the flowers!

For some reason, Isabelle loves to carry around Mommy's shoes. I think she thinks she can persuade me to go outside or "bye-bye" (both of which she loves to do) if she brings the shoes to me.

Isabelle loves to eat spaghetti... or any kind of noodles! She's even perfected slurping the noodles up.

Springtime!

We had a great spring break and enjoyed some beautiful weather and lots of playing outside. Wish I could say that the weather has continued to be warm. Unfortunately, we had to pull out our winter coats again yesterday as it was snowing! Ah... spring in Iowa! Isabelle helping Mommy celebrate her 30th birthday!

I know I always say this but... she's getting SO BIG!! We raised her kitchen up to the next level. She loves it!

Jason and I took Isabelle to the zoo over spring break. She had a blast. She especially liked the seals, monkeys, and the petting zoo. She called everything we saw either a kitty or a puppy... at least she gets that they're animals, right? :)

Life is good!

We are always enjoying lots of laughs with our little Elle! She is jabbering all the time and learning lots of new words... her current favs are uh-oh and kitty. She cruises right along with her baby stroller or Princess car but no independent steps yet.

Isabelle is a big help whenever we are using the computer. :) I think this girl is going to expect her own cell phone and laptop by the time she's two.

Someday...

Someday... Isabelle will probably not be so thrilled that I've shared some of these pictures! She's so stinkin' cute though! Most of these are actually some random photos from the last month or two that never got posted. All is well here-- she's been sick this week, but she has been a trooper like always!

Isabelle's hair is getting so long... a haircut may be in the very near future because she hates having anything in her hair! I am constantly fighting to keep it out of her eyes!

Kristi and Collin visited us last weekend! Isabelle was very excited to play with her cousin Collin (now 5 months). They thought this was pretty fun!

One of Grandma Karwal's "theme rooms" is pirates so the kids have a lot of fun dressing up! Cousin Ayden wanted Isabelle to be a pirate too. In all actuality, Isabelle wasn't so happy about this outfit at first, but once we got out the parrot, she was happy to pull the bird's feathers off.

Snowy days...

The snow sure doesn't seem to being going away anytime soon. We have been enjoying lots of days indoors staying warm! We did bring the snow inside one day as you can see from one of the pictures below. She loved it! We haven't really ventured out in it yet as she can't even stand wearing her coat when we are going places. Therefore, I can't see her being thrilled if I stick her in snowpants too... she just wants to be able to MOVE! And that she is... she isn't walking yet but has started a "tripod" sort of walking so I think her time is coming soon! Not sure I'm ready!
